Fresh Garbanzo Beans!!!!!!!!


Eat them like Edamame!

Ingredients:
Serves 6

1/2 lbs fresh Garbanzo Beans
tbls Pink Himalayan Crystal Salt
2 Tsp Olive Oil

Directions:

Char Garbanzo Beans in a frying pan with Olive Oil. Add Salt. Eat like Edamame.

The green drink too good not to document


For the past three months, I have been drinking a green drink every day. I have noticed a huge shift in my energy levels, and I have managed to lose about 20 lbs in the process (without making any additional dietary changes.) I truly believe in the power of green. It stabilizes my mood, gives me boundless energy and keeps my body healthy and vital.

Ingredients:
Serves 3

1 Honey Dew Melon
1 Avocado

Directions:

Blend it up and drink it down!

Chickpea salad from heaven


Perfect potluck food

Ingredients:
Serves 6-8

3 cups of chickpeas (boiled or canned)
1/2 Stem Kale minced
2 Pepper cut into thin slices
1/4 Red Onion minced
3 Tbs Olive Oil
Good quality Salt

Directions:

Mix it all together in a pretty bowl!

Spinach Tastiness


Total and Utter Yum.

Ingredients:
Serves 4

2 Bunches of Spinach
Sesame Oil
Sesame seeds
Salt

Directions:

Wash Spinach well. Stir-fry all ingredients. Enjoy!

Melon Avo Raw Summer Soup


Ingredients:
Serves 3-4

5 Arugula Leaves
8 Basil Leaves
3 Stems Kale
1/2 Ripe Avocado
1/2 Pepper
1 Small Cantaloupe
4 Cups of Water
1 Pinch of HIgh Quality Salt

Directions:

Blend it all together!

Macadamia Date Bites

Honestly, I know I say it everytime I make dessert type things but these ones are the best.

Like the best best.

Ingredients:
Serves 8

1 Cup roasted and salted macademia nuts
4 medjul dates
1.2 cup shredded coconut

Directions:

Blend Macademia Nuts and Dates in a blender. Roll mixture into little truffle type balls with your hands. Roll formed balls in shredded coconut to cover them. Share with friends!

Moong Dahl Soup Fall Soup

I am a little embarrased to admit that the other day I found myself saying "My Vata Dosha is through the roof! I am going to make some soup to ground my energy." Apparently, the yogi Aryuvedic trend in California has gotten to me. Just shoot me now. But Seriously, this is a really great soup to bring your energy down and prepare you for relaxation. I suggest eating it as dinner.

Ingredients:
Serves 8

1 cup mung dahl
4 cups water
2 cubes organic veggie stock
1 Onion- cubed
5 Cubes Garlic- minced
1/4 Inch Ginger- minced
8 handfuls of prewashed baby spinach cut into small pieces
3 tomatoes- cubed
1 Tbs Olive Oil

Directions:

Add oil, onions, garlic and ginger to a soup pot on medium heat. Stir until onions are translucent. Add water, moong dahl and vegetable stock. Cook for 10 minutes. Add tomatoes and spinach cook until moong dahl is soft to taste. Enjoy!

Blanched Asparagus with Garlic Gomai


Apparently, good manners dictates that you eat aspargus with your hands.

Ingredients:
make 2-3 servings

1 Bunch Asparagus
4 Tbs Garlic Gomai (2 parts Sesame seeds, .5 part Sea salt, 1.5 parts Garlic Powder)

Directions:

Blanch Asparagus by cooking it in hot water for 2 minutes and then running cold water over it to stop the cooking process (Keeps it crunchy). Add Gomai on top! Voila. You are now asparagused.
